As Blizzard Nemo Strikes, Global Warming Won’t Be Far Behind

I live in upstate New York where we were predicted to have 16 inches of snow .... we got less than 6. If you mute your TV to shut off the hysteria and just look at the pictures, most places got very little snow, and even places like Boston and eastern Connecticut where they got more, got about 10 inches less than predicted. NYC got 10 inches where they were predicted to get two feet. All this coming from the same "scientists" who claim to be able to tell the average temperature of the entire surface of the earth, to an accuracy of a tenth of a degree - all the way back to the Civil War.

You aren't, but if you were a Leftist you'd use that as EVIDENCE of global warming. It would go something like this:
* Upstate NY was supposed to get 16 inches of snow, but they only got six. That's because of global warming. If the earth was NOT getting warmer, Upstate NY would have got the whole 16 inches of snow.

Sorry about this post, but that's the level of so called "thinking" in which our Liberal Brethren engage.

Global warming may be happening. It's happening on Mars.

The question is, what makes us think we're causing it?

That, and "why do we want to stop it?" Climates have variations, trying to prevent a natural change is at least as bad as causing a premature one.

It's those darn Mars Rovers - they're making CO2 on Mars!
Oh, if only they'd sent electric vehicles there instead!

oh, wait a minute. . .

Derek, " average temperature of the entire surface of the earth, to an accuracy of a tenth of a degree - all the way back to the Civil War." You forgot they can also predict for the next 50-100 years!!!

I'd be happy if they could just predict the next 50-100 days, correctly. . .

Derek, ain't it the truth!

Blizzard Nemo is bearing down on the Northeast- hence the term nor’easter to describe it- so prepare for the folks at Fashion Week, now being held in New York City, to be out in force battling the storm.

“The organizers of New York's Fashion Week,” reports the CSMonitor,  “a closely watched series of fashion shows held under a big tent – said they will have extra crews to help with snow removal and will turn up the heat and add an extra layer to the venue.”

We can only hope that they wear furs.

Because we’ll need blizzards of hilarity...
