You are comparing apples to oranges. Race is unchanging and irrelevant. Behaviors, especially sexual, are a choice. You cannot change blackness or whiteness, you can alter your behavior, in this case "gayness". There is a huge difference in discriminating against someone base solely on the color of their skin (which is unchangable) and discriminating based on someons's actions (which are changable). Come back when you have a logical argument to add to the debate.

But the Declaration of Independence does mention our Creator, as the source of our rights. The Constitution was designed to protect those God given rights laid out in the Declaration.

I don't disagree, and I know Congress does the budgets. My point is that the left spent 8 years harshly critiquing Bush, then Obama comes in and spends more, starts more wars, is less transparent, keeps the Bush tax cuts. Basically, he does everything Bush did, except to a larger degree. If they claim Bush ruined the economy with excessive spending, a war and his "unpaid for" tax cuts; then how is Ozero any better? He's done all those things. He spends more, started another war, kept the tax cuts and increased federal obligations to ensure more spending in the future. You can't have it both ways!

If Obama just extended Bush's policies and Bush was absolutely terrible, according to all you lefties, how are we going to recover? If it was Bush policies that caused this mess and Obama is extending them (as you claim) wouldn't it stand to reason we need something totally different and another term with the Bamster is just going to continue to make things worse?

First, I completely agree your first paragraph. We've funded Europe's defense for decades while they built up socialist states. They can and should defend themselves, of course NATO will be there to step in, in the event of total war. South Korea can hold their own to a point. A reduction of our presence with a Naval fleet and Marines standing by would probably be sufficient. However, the F-35 (and F-22) are not something we should downsize. The Russian Migs were not effective against our fighters, even if the "outperformed" them. Typically these planes were broken and were unreliable. Our kill ratio was significantly higher then theirs.
