The term "assault weapon" is a slogan; a propaganda term. A more accurate term for what the liberal cult is trying to outlaw is 20th Century arms. Anti-gun bigots who pretend to be loyal Americans say they don't want to take anyone's guns away; they just don't think civilians should be able to have what they call "assault weapons." This is like saying that they support the free press clause in the First Amendment but don't think it should be applied to electronic media (20th Century media in other words).

Yesterday we brought you reports of NRA President David Keene and NRA members receiving death threats in light of the Sandy Hook tragedy and now, Campus Reform has reported that University of Rhode Island Professor Erik Loomis has called for NRA Vice President Wayne LaPierre's "head on a stick" during a rant on his Twitter page. Loomis also called the NRA a terrorist organization.
