Armed citizens prevent about two million crimes annually - over 5,000 daily. Certainly the fact that citizens may be armed deter millions more. Compare the government that wants to restrict the 2nd Amendment. They arm drug cartels with impunity; provide arms and know-how to the Muslim Brotherhood; provide advanced weapon systems to sworn enemies; and publish terror alerts about US veterans who are pro-gun, pro-life, Christian, white and male. The government wants background checks on its armed citizens but grants a five-year unrestricted visa to any Saudi citizen without any background check.

Whether it’s NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, President Obama or Hollywood elite, they’ve all demonstrated an incredible amount of hypocrisy on the issue of gun control. Many politicians and actors have armed protection yet push gun control measures that would take away this right from the average citizen.

On Thursday Sen. Rand Paul said on Fox News’ “Hannity” that he doesn’t “begrudge” famous people for this protection because “there’s certainly enough crazy people out there that would attack on the right or the left.”
