The Conservative Football Fix

Come on sports fans. Football, NFL style, is like NBA Basketball--fixed. But not as you think--fixed by the league office, which is beholden to the owners. Key officials call games to get a predetermined outcome that the League wants, which is based on what brings in the most money. The Patriots won three of four superbowls with the help of the refs (remember the tuck rule?), and now they are kept from wining because of the refs. I caught the old NFL/AFL merger League throwing games for the AFL to make the two leagues look the same in quality and they responded, after they got equality, with the challenging of replays to squelch skeptics (=conservatives) like me, and now you want to do away with replays. They still fix games, but...
