At last week's signing of "executive actions" designed to combat gun violence in America, President Obama, flanked by schoolchildren, said, "...when it comes to protecting the most vulnerable among us, we must act now."
There's no doubt that children, especially schoolchildren, are vulnerable to all kinds of threats, but are they "the most vulnerable," as the president claimed, or is there another category of human life that qualifies for that designation?
Forty years after a Supreme Court majority opened the door to legalized abortion, the number of aborted babies has reached roughly 55 million....
For those pushing adoption: Adoptees are 2-3% of the population -- and 16% of serial murderers. Adoptees are FIFTEEN TIMES more likely to kill one or both parents than other people.
Why is this? It may well be that a baby automatically attaches to the womb in which he or she grows and out of which he or she is born. Most people recognize that a female who places for adoption might be traumatized or sad. The baby may also be traumatized although pre-conscious.
This isn't a reason for abortion. It is a reason to ensure that the women who get pregnant want to have babies.

I'm not for abortion. I'm for wanted pregnancies.
Actually, the problem very often is the pregnancy. I asked a friend who had an illegal abortion about adoption and she replied that was "quite irrelevant" because she "just wasn't going to complete the pregnancy." She said I was making a common mistake. She wasn't going to complete the pregnancy itself.
We must discourage partnered sexual activity. I believe in reviving chaperoned dating.
