Stossel portrays himself as a Liberaterian, however Ryan is not entitled to his opinions, it looks like. TARP brought back millions in interest to the federal coffers. Since a negative cannot be proved, this proves to me that Stossel is just another blow hard. Part of Fox who thinks he is an expert on every topic. I pass on his over hyped BS. Paul Ryan is no big spender, RINO and does not betray his values. If Rom wins, it will be because of Paul Ryan and we will take our country back. Go jump off anther cliff there Informan.

It doesn't matter if the Feds went themselves and broke a few kneecaps with their bare hands to get the money back, d. THERE IS NO AUTHORIZATION IN THE CONSTITUTION to bail out banks. None. Zippo. TARP is nothing more than another ILLEGAL transfer of wealth from us, the stupid taxpayers, to bankers and other cronies.

Stossel is dead on when he feels outrage at what Ryan stands for. Ryan is a faux conservative just like Santorum and all the other quasi-Progressives in the GOP.

Don't underestimate your friends, OM.

Ryan may realize that you can't ride into town, guns blazing, and garner a lot of support. Or work a scheme to turn the Ship of State from its present course.

I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt this one time. Actions speak louder than words. I've already seen what Owebama does. No more.

Yes, Old Mex-we know-everyone who isn't a Ron Paul supporter is a fake conservative. Ron Paul is the only hope for America. We've heard it before.

TARP was a losing strategy.

And opened the door for Obama's abuses. Remember, there's always a next guy.
I wanted to like Paul Ryan.

Before he was nationally known, Rep. Ryan visited me at ABC, and we went to lunch. He was terrific. He was a rare politician, one who actually cared about America's coming debt crisis and the unfairness of entitlements. He even talked about F.A. Hayek's "The Road to Serfdom"! If only more politicians thought that way.

But then the housing bubble burst. Ryan voted for TARP. Then he voted for the auto bailout. Who is this guy? I thought he believed in markets!

At Fox, when I got my own TV show, I asked him about...
