We need to give Obama the tax increases on the rich. Actually this administration is playing games and the republicans need to call their bluff. Democrats know raising taxes on the rich is not going to give them enough revenue to continue all their social programs. The only way to do that is to raise taxes on the middle class. That's where the money is at. So they can say it's actually the republicans who would not cave therefore all your taxes will be raised. And that is exactly what democrats want. So republicans need to stop letting these democrats play them.

The reason I say this is: I just watched an economist on CNN say we need to raise taxes on the middle class for the good of the community. CNN is singing a different tune after the election.

Senator-elect Elizabeth Warren (MA-D) -- who defeated Republican Senator Scott Brown by a whopping seven percentage points earlier this month -- has recently penned an op-ed in the Huffington Post criticizing intransigent Republican lawmakers in the Senate for abusing the filibuster procedure, vowing to make filibuster “reform” her first order of business on Day One.
