I greatly admire Dr. Sowell, but resent being included in "we the voters." I did not vote for this clown, any of the three elections in which I was eligible to vote, being an honest taxpayer and not a parasite or racist. Isn't it about time the country woke up and elected some honest candidates with business, management and fiscal experience? Or are the 32-IQs outnumbering those of us with IQs higher than our ages?

I agree. Anyone who recommends funds should be questioned. They key to a safe retirement is to find the best, most honest broker you can, talk with him about your needs and wants and answer all his questions. Diversification doesn't always make sense - and the metals aren't always safe. Buffett once said and I paraphrase, "buy the stocks of companies whose products and services you understand," today the only thing he said with which I agree. Today's pols are all out for their own - we have to be as well.

All employers should be forced to use the E-verify system on present and putative employees. They're already forced to deduct social-security and other taxes from earnings, so since they're the first in the chain of legal or illegal employment, why shouldn't they handle this as well? And this includes the corporate farms and other shops that hire illegals. WIpe out the jobs for non-citizens and maybe more of them will "self-deport."

You got it, lady. Don't these bimbettes understand that birth-control pills have been available since 1960 in this country? If they're too stupid to use them or are harmed by a power-mad sadist, there's always adoption.

Will someone please explain why a "black congressional congress" is permitted in the first place? Imagine the uproar if someone started a "Caucasian congressional congress." Is this affirmative action, bigotry or some other politically correct idiocy?

I spent almost forty years managing a non-profit organization that raised funds for research grants and informational services for the patients and families living with a neurologic disorder. Our overhead never exceeded ten percent. As the author wrote, do your due diligence and find out if the funds raised go to paying staff salaries and fancy offices or to the purposes for which the organization was chartered.

Makes sense to me. In addition, stop altogether the printing of ANYTHING in any language other than American English. If these and other illegal aliens can't learn to speak and read OUR language (they can use whatever they want in their homes) in public, they can take their flags and go home.

First place these "people" head to once they're over the border, waving their damned flags and speaking spic.
