A Greene Victory in South Carolina?

The people I know in South Carolina are very bright astute people. So, how did this happen? I've got a suggestion that hasn't been given yet: "THE VOTING MACHINES WERE BOUGHT FROM PEOPLE IN CHICAGO." Could that be why so much has been written about the way politics are handled by the Democrat Chicago MACHINE?" This suggestion is offered with my tongue planted firmly in my cheek, but it sounds more logical than the silly excuses being offered by the South Carolina democrats and the syncophants in the Obama administration.

Dr. Sowell's columns are always excellent, but I consider this among his very best. His ability to evaluate the Obama administration's goals, and his love for those principles that have made ours the greatest country in the world are very much appreciated.

He very correctly says that Americans are beginning to wake up. The entire waking up process cannot happen rapidly enough to suit me. Obama's effort to take control of everything, giving leftists total control -- including plans for a national police force -- should be enough to make anybody who believes in the U.S. Constitution extremely alarned.

Absolutely the finest evaluation of what is going on in Obama's rush toward socialism that I have read. You hit the bullseye, Dr. Sowell!

Obama has adopted the tactics used by magicians: he wants you to watch what he does with one hand, not what he is doing with the other hand! BUT AMERICA IS WAKING UP!

Whoever thought you count write a "catty" article and make a positive point? You succeeded. The baby killers, however won't see the logic. They aren't familiar with the word!
If there was any doubt about BHO's radical leftist philosophy his czar appointments should leave no doubt. His Achilles Heel is the size of his ego and by the bravado demonstrated in his appointment of socialist czars.

I have known for a long time that the socialist-communistic movement, once it failed in the Soviet Union, moved into the environmental movement. The environment movement gives them the avenue through which big government can introduce the kind of "hope and change" that leftists believe in. The appointment of Van Jones, a very bright man but an avowed communist by his own admission, has helped America to wake up to what BHO is really all about. AMERICA IS TRULY WAKING UP!

A superb article by Buchanan!! Though racial profiling takes place, it doesn't happen every time someone says it does. It is high time that people like the Reverends (?) Jackson and Sharpton stopped seeing everything in America as racially motivated. Race hustlers both!!

Also, to Oldprof, your poetry is impressive.

WRAL: White Rapists and Lombard

No one should be surprised at this story, for our universities in America have largely been totally captured by self-styled "progressives" (translation: "politically-correct collectivists"). It is how Karl Marx planned to take over every country in the world: "capture the avenues that teach (schools) and disseminate ideas (newspapers, magazines, radio, television,etc.).

Having Frank Lombard as associate director of a Center dealing with Public Health Policy is like having Adolph Hitler the director of a Good Samaritan Institute.

The way to take back America has to begin by taking our schools and universities back from collectivists.
What made Rep. Etheridge do what he did? He was caught between a rock and a hard place -- between the pressure that the Obama-Reid-Pelosi triangle was putting on him AND the awareness that he has to face the voters in his district in November. He very likely went to Washington with the desire to represent the people who elected him and to serve our country to the best of his ability. Once he got there he learned that he had to vote the way he was told by his party caucus or his office would be in a broom closet. He learned quickly that he was expected to follow directions or his only committee assignment would be to occupy the last seat on the Congressional Bathroom Janitorial Committee. He didn't even have to read the bills that...

What Obama Should Say Tuesday Night

There is not a snowball's chance in hell that Obama will say anything close to this -- even though it would reflect more honesty than exists in his leftist body. The reason he won't is that he genuinely believes he already knows all the answers. He is beginning to learn that HE JUST HASN'T ASKED ALL THE QUESTIONS.....AND IN MANY CASES EVEN THE RIGHT QUESTIONS.

Is he in over his head? You can bet yout BP on that one!

This is absolutely the most middle of the target analysis of what happened in Massachusetts that I have seen. The so-called "Progressive" agenda just took a nosedive off the precipice. And if the elitists don't understand that fact, they will fall even further into the valley. They are convinced that anyone who doesn't agree with them on the importance of "spreading the wealth" are just "not as smart as we are." Talk about narcissism, that is industrial strength narcissism!

Our country is waking up to the fact that our messianic leader who reads well off teleprompters has an agenda that is different from the one he promised when he was running for office. He is the front man for people behind the scenes who have a very...
