As both an attorney and someone intimately familiar with the details of issue, it is true amazing to me the amount of misinformation and bad legal analysis that I have seen. These posts about "crowding" and "traffic" have nothing to do with anything. The ordinance has nothing to do with that, because it criminalizes even a single person disseminating a "political, social, or religious" message. In other words, if someone walks out of a bar and starts talking to their friend about the election, they can be arrested. If someone was wearing an Obama or Romney shirt, they could be arrested. If someone was talking to their friend about Buddha, they could be arrested. Who cares what you think of their motives?
