No. Warren Buffet says he pays a lower tax rate than his secretary. He pays mostly capital gains taxes which are different than income taxes but he and she pay the same rate on the amount she makes as income. For instance, she makes $50K in salary and he makes $1M in salary. He pays the same amount on his first 50K as she does. I bet she also has investments on which she pays the same rate as he does on the same amount she pays on gains. One must listen closely to what is said and also think critically when hearing what is said...not be a Pavlovian dog.
