Any chaplain who criticizes any of Obama's policies such as gay marriage or any others looses all chances of advancement. Military chapels, to include the one at West Point, now perform gay marriages. Obama has done more to destroy the moral fabric of the military in 4+ years than any communist infiltration could have done over 50 years of trying. When you have the Chief of Staff of the Army talking about the primary importance of "diiiiverrrrsssiiiity" we are in a heap of trouble. The once mightiest fighting force in the world is being turned into a socialistic social experimentation. Glad I ended my 27 years as an Infantry officer 23 years ago.

One of the things I fought W for is not vetoing bills which he should have...particularly when the democrats where in charge of the legislative branches. Bush was not a Conservative. He had some conservative traits, but he was more moderate and "compassionate" than he was Conservative.

You hit upon a good point. Neither democracy nor republican form of government is not the natural inclination nor the best form of government for everyone. To have either of those two forms of government requires educated populace with close to common goals and be motivated enough to be involved with the running of the government. (Sadly, we maybe losing some of that here in the US.) The natural inclination of most people is to have someone take care of them. Some father figure. Just look at the recent comments about Chavez by the populace there after his death. There are many people here in the US whom would be happy if they could install Obama at the "benevolent" dictator.
