In my state, since the last election independents have out registered the GOP 211,000 to 3,069, to become satistically equal, but the demos have gained by over 211,000 also so it negates their gain on the gop.

The first thing people have to realize is Christian and conservatative are not the same thing. Most people who call themselves conservatatives are really centeriest, which has nothing to do with being moderate or in the center. It has to do with the central goverment.
