The indoctrination doesn't just start at college either - my daughter's high school is attempting to do a great job at that level. All the classrooms have rainbow striped signs over the doors saying, "Safe zone." But won't put up red, white and blue striped onese saying, "Free Speech."........A very sad state of affairs we've let happen. Put your children in private schools - not government indoctrination centers - or homeschool them! Now!

Joyce, I often read your material, but you're off today. A happy environment? I was a small business owner and if someone told me that in an interview, I absolutely would not hire them. This is double speak for, "I want a lot of money, and no work or responsiblity." It is a lot of trouble to "keep writing someone up" and yet that person is still continuing to call the boss names. On the 3 degree student loan issue - while there are options for deferral, this couple needs to get off their high horses, and take a job, any job to pay bills. We have 2 nephews in the same situation, and neither has even bothered to look for work. Degrees from expensive private schools - and sitting around doing nothing except whining like this couple....

We were married episcopalian 20 years ago - and have served on the vestry, etc....but no more. We have had words with the leadership and workers of our current church on the gay marriage thing - they have tried hard to teach our children that this is ok - just another "choice." And they are over the top on the "carbon footprint" hype. No More. We are now looking for a conservative, christ centered, Bible centered church. Bye-Bye politically correct club!

I think we/I have probably gotten too caught up in just what you're talking about - rules just because. I'm not sure how to alter their impression, at this point. Our 16-year-old is rebelling against everything we've tried to teach her. She doesn't see how today gets you to tomorrow. Typical, I know, but disappointing and frustrating. I think I too would have homeschooled in retrospect. Difficult job Parenting!

This "right" colleges book is excellent. Will get the newest edition today. We are currently using it to help choose our daughter's college and find it very useful. We don't want her sharing bathrooms & being indoctrinated in the lib mindset. The Temple person should change schools, and the mother paying $50,000/year is crazy. Parents must put their foot down on these outrageous prices, loans, and foolishness. I agree with technical training & yep, you do need basic history, math and science, no matter what you do in life. My ultra-lib, PhD, sister-in-law is, however, appalled that we are considering a conservative, christian school. But not ballsy enough to say why, just "oh, No! You can't!" Sorry, Honey, Yes We Can!

And I am becoming more of a survivalist every day. Buy canned goods and paper products and over the counter medicines. Yes, inflation is coming and that can of beans at 25-30 cents today will be 60 or a dollar a year or two from now. So you will have made 100% return on your investment - and be able to feed your family no matter what. Don't forget enough water, and your self protection. Ammunition is expensive and getting more so, as well as becoming scarce because of the Obama policies. And if none of the doomsday scenarios happen - that's ok to. You're prepared.

For people who have no confidence in God and Heaven - their goal is to live forever. Relatives complaining that the elderly relatives are all being diagnosed with Alzheimers. Duh - they're all over 90 - the previous generation died before 90, and therefore did not have time to either develop this problem, or be diagnosed with it. M-i-Law is diabetic, almost blind....her top of the line assisted living and health care costs $80,000 a year - It might have been better for her and Dad to stay in their home, rather than forcibly be moved to Assisted living, and pass away naturally. Certainly the family members who were counting on an inheritance won't see one now! It's all spent.

Recently heard an NPR story about 8-year-old children who "know" they are transgendered. Their parents were taking them to a Transgendered Children conference. Of couse, it was some place in California. I never heard of such a ridiculous idea in my life. These politically correct parents need to get a grip. If JOhnny says, "Mom, I think I'm really a girl in a boys body." - First were did he ever get the idea that this was possible?-turn off the TV/radio with this garbage on it! Then Mom needs to say - "No, Johnny, you can't be a girl, you were born a boy, you have a ... and you are a boy." Not "help" an 8 year old 'find' themselves! What are we coming to? There will be paybacks for this nonsense. God will only put up with it...
