I am opposed to abortion because I believe that an unborn baby is an innocent human life. However, I take exception to your claim that "the shedding of innocent blood" is an unforgivable sin. Please cite chapter and verse to back up that claim. If the shedding of innocent blood is an unforgivable sin, how do you explain the Apostle Paul? Many women who have had an abortion have asked God for forgiveness. I have never seen anything in the Bible that would lead me to believe that God won't forgive them. Read John 3:16, WHOSOEVER is an all-encompassing word.

This is an interesting article, especially so after reading The Bible, Book of Zechariah, Chapters 12-14. I pray that the USA stands with Israel. The Jews are God's chosen people and Zechariah 12:9 states, "And it shall be in that day that I (God) will make it my aim to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."
No, the only Americans who pay 15.3% of their income for SS and MC taxes are the self-employed. All other private sector workers are taxed at a rate of 4.2% for SS and 1.45% for MC. The employer is required to pay 6.2% on your gross income for SS and 1.45% on your gross for MC. In addition to this, the employer must pay Unemployment Compensation "contributions" to the state government. This 'contribution' rate varies between different companies and different states. In the case of my business, the unemployment "contribution" rate is 7.2%. Incidentally, the 'contribution' rate I'm required to pay has gone from .5% in 2009 to 5.2% in 2010 and increased to 7.2% for 2011. Talk about an exponential increase!
My daughter is a Special Olympian. You should know that your use of the "R" word in this context is offensive. Would you please consider a more appropriate word?

I completely agree. It is the adult's responsibility to see that the child is dressed appropriately. I cannot imagine taking a six year old child to swim at a public pool unless that child is dressed appropriately. I taught my son and my daughters that they were to keep their "private parts" private. I cannot imagine any adult taking a six year old girl to any public place "topless". Parents and Grandparents have a God-given responsibility to teach modesty to our children.

Suzanne, your premise is all wrong. Any child over the age of one year whose parents or grandparents seek to take them to a public place should be dressed appropriately. It is certainly not inappropriate to enforce an established dress code at a public pool. I have two daughters and I would never have taken them to a public pool without appropriate swimwear, regardless of their age. It is called "personal responsibility'.
