Our country is being bled out by doctors of social engineering,if november does not see a complete reversal of fortune for the democrats in office then all is lost.

That's right barry, there isn't just one single earmark in the stimulus package. There are thousands of them.Half truths and outright lies are no way to go through life son.

Was it honest Abe or Evil Adolf that said The great masses of the people will fall more easily to a big lie than a small one?

What a wonderful political year,I have seen and heard such things that I thought I'd never see or hear.Signs and Wonders. The people of this great country are making their voices heard, and they are being heard. After being laid off for a year and having to work as a casual at far less money than I used to make,I can tell you that it's been tough on me and my family. But if this is what it takes to wake up the rest of this country of ours then so be it.I'm not happy about my predicament and I'm not happy about my countries predicament but maybe just maybe the voters of this country can pull the lever on these clowns and flush them out of office.

And Ronald Reagan accomplished all that with Vietnam,Nixon,Watergate legacies,a democrat congress, recession, high gasoline prices,Jimmy Carters malaise, high inflation, high interest rates on mortgages,Tip Oneill, gutless republicans,Fords pardon of Nixon,Soviet union expansionism, and sabre rattling, well all I can say about Ronald Reagans time in office is,not bad,not bad at all.

Thomas Sowell is correct once again.Maybe the conservative pundits are screeching because of what on the spot analysis and insights that Thomas Sowell provides them.Of course then there are the people who consider him to be a real jewel, these people are calm, they are not troubled by the leftward course of our country.that's why they have a real distain for all those noisy types who don't really understand the real world,It's kinda like Obama and his democrat cronies in congress. They know best, just shut up and let us hardworking drones create,I mean clean up this mess.

Bravo Dr.Sowell!! As usual you've addressed this issue and came to the same conclusion that most Conservative Americans believe as well.As for me I no longer want Kinder Gentler Republicans or Compassionate Conservatives to represent me I want Men and Women who when elected to serve in DC will fight for my god given rights and not to legislate an end run around the constitution.

Intellectuals and Society

Intellectuals, can't live with em,can't live with em.It would seem that even socialists, communists, and bolsheviks agree that once power is gained with the help of intellectuals then the next step is to rid themselves of their intellectual compatriots. Thus the term useful idiot was born to describe intellectuals

Our country will survive, and this too shall pass,This country has faced far worse problems than this.True it may be changed, and the change may be permanent, but only if we as a people do nothing or hope that someone else will do it for us.This may be a needed scourging so as to wake up an overwhelming majority of Americans to take a greater interest in their government, and to take back their government. The USA has a history of electing politicians who promise hope or change or both.(Clinton,Carter,Kennedy,FDR,)I believe this current predicament that we find ourselves in is what is needed to unite us in fighting the common enemy here at home.By uniting and throwing the rascals out of office where ever they may be,we will be made stronger...
