In response to:

What Did You Expect from Short Term Thinkers?

I'll be interested to see how blaming the voters for not being smart enough to elect your guy works as a campaign strategy.

Well, they aren't smart enough. Forget about campaign strategy. They simply aren't too bright. That's not a lie. It's just what it is. What, shall we tell an Obama voter we think he/she is sooooo intelligent and please vote for us next time, because we sooooo want you on our side? I don't think so. It's not even an argument to argue about the average intelligence level of the average Obama voter. These are not people who give a damn about their country or anybody else. They care about themselves. They are stupid. Duh.

Your right Dean. And that's exactly Heidi's point. It's probably too late to expect voters to think about consequences. We were naive to think voters would respond to "hard work" and "believe in the future". People just want stuff and they want it now...

Terry - You are correct sir!

I assume you live in the U.S., Dean? So you, like the rest of us, will get to reap the results of the numb nuts electing a president who, out of ideology and his own economic ignorance, has some not very good things planned for us. First term should have been a wake-up call. The biggest mistake we made in this election was assuming that a majority of electorate were astute enough to know what a disaster/failure Obama's first term was and that they would CARE enough to help correct it. Wrong on both counts and that is most unfortunate. I'm not sure you can build a campaign strategy around numb nuts. First of all, if you throw them an Obama phone and a Link card they'll never know anything is wrong let alone do anything about it

Someone sent me the George Carlin video on elections the morning of election day. It's crude, but darn funny. There are a lot of people who don't like any of the choices, and won't even vote.

Obviously, what we’ve long suspected has been proven true. The takers now officially outnumber the makers. It’s human nature to want what others have and not want to do what others did to get it, but Obama has taken that to a whole new level by fostering the belief that breathing is enough to guarantee you food, housing, education, and a cell phone.

One of the biggest voting blocks for Obama continues to be single women, many of whom are single mothers. Why? I have a very simple explanation. Short term thinking. Think about it: single mothers are...
