Burt, I always enjoy your columns. Your Eulogy 69 says that your father probably came to this country LEGALLY via Ellis Island, and clearly understood that America offered a better life and equal opportunity (not equal results) for anyone willing to work hard to earn it - like the rest of the Greatest Generation. You know he was proud of you because of that 50 cent check he carried around for so long...and your self esteem seems to be in pretty good shape in spite of the things he didn't say. As a child, I was often told - "actions speak louder than words!"

The prophet is not bothering with the 'official' appointments because it's much easier to name Czars who are accountable only to him, they don't have to be elected by the people, approved by Congress, and based on some of their resume's, aren't being vetted by anyone - certainly not the FBI. This allows the prophet to bypass anyone in charge and go to his czar for info, creating major chaos in the various departments,
AND the Prophet isn't accountable for anything specific, like the actions of Eric Holder, who, by the way, serves at the pleasure of POTUS, not the other way around.

Why............I would gladly trade in Kathleen Parker for Burt Prelutsky. Not only is he a true conservative, he also has great perspective on issues and a very astute sense of humor. If Parker is a Republican, she is a RINO, so you can ditch her outright. She should be writing for the NYTimes.

Great move to FNC, John. I have a couple of your books, and I often use your line - "give me a break" instead of saying BS to my liberal friends here in the Northeast.

I like hearing both sides of issues whenever the person's position is honest, but I am weary of listening to so-called news reporters or 'journalists' spout liberal support without even mentioning things like the ACORN and Van Jones messes. Someone needs to make them honest.

Continue with your in-depth reporting, and when you have guests, DO NOT LET THEM TALK OVER EACH OTHER!!!
