Throwing the truth out in the open, in a mocking fashion to make it something to laugh at.... accusing others of precisely what they're doing... that's a standard Liberal Progressive tactics. Obama knows precisely what 'Forward!' means. Never doubt that. And he's laughing.

It's only the Left that retaliates like that against anyone who dares to disagree with them. Boortz is right, the same thing happens all the time to Conservatives who work for businesses owned by Liberal Progressives; if they're discovered to be Conservative, they'll soon find themselves out of a job. Leftists do not tolerate dissent, they never have.

Obama says that a presidential candidate has to be more careful with their words, and you, Mr. Goldberg, say, "Fair enough". It's not "fair enough". It's hypocrisy. This is the President who has been anything but careful with his words, unless you want to presume that all of Obama's word choices were carefully considered and deliberate? That everything he's said has achieved the desired impact? Because then we're back to Bernanke question; Is he incompetent, or a traitor? I'll be more "civil" than Gov. Perry and go with 'incompetent' for Obama's speaking habits, until proven otherwise.

In regards to Perry's words about Bernanke, he voiced what many Americans are thinking right now. Bernanke is supposed to the nation's foremost expert in manipulating money and interest rates in order to push the economy in one direction or the other. And he was wrong. How could he be wrong if he's the nation's foremost expert in these matters? And if he's not the nation's foremost expert, why is in that job? He's either incompetent, or he's deliberately tanked the economy. Take your pick, Mr. Goldberg.
That is precisely the point. Ataturk exemplifies almost everything right with someone of Islamic background who has rejected the conjoining of religion and government and the rigidly imposed strictures of religious culture on an entire nation.

Very true. Obama has set back race relations by at least 30 years with his race-politics which pervade every level of his administration, to include the Justice Department.

This is a ridiculous assertion. "Right-wing talkers" aren't claiming that racism is dead, we see it every day from Left-wingers. And beyond them, there are the stupid and the benighted, and that's in every society. What is true is that racism is not the norm in the United States, nor is it impassable roadblock for any group.

Good thing Saunders caught this crucial, world-threatening, mega-impact issue which is far more important than the sagging US economy, the skyrocketing US debt, the approaching debt ceiling deadline, the threat of Islamofascist terrorism, the staggering 9.2% (16% real) unemployment, the horrible violence and drug/weapons trafficking on our southern border, the continuing wave of illegal immigration which probably includes foreign terrorist interests into our nation, the back-door ways and means of the Fed and the Administration in promulgating it's agenda by circumventing Congress, the quickly rising cost of food, the concerns about oil pricing and gas, and Ms. Saunders is concerned about a men's club in San Francisco. Wow. Talk about...

The current system isn't working very well. I think we'd all agree on that. But after all the whining and gnashing of teeth has died down, one question remains; who else can do the job? Who else can be trusted to do the job? Jacoby's right, with ability comes responsibility, and like it or not, someone has to keep the peace or things break down. First travel, then commerce, then the hunger begins, and war. And those things will impact us, whether we want it to or not. It's not only a matter of responsibility, it's also a matter of self-interest. Damnit.
Good synopsis of Huntsman's debut. But it begs the question; Why? It told us nothing we wouldn't have known by paying attention to Huntsman. It offered no perspective on Huntsman, no real comparisons. It reads more like a political advertisement. Mr. Benson, do you have something to say? Something to add to this? Some point to having written it?
