Obama Backers Use Race as Alibi for Ebbing Support

The race card is a very effective tactic. Like all epithets, it puts its target on the defensive, forcing him or her to try to prove a negative--a very, very difficult proposition. This is the most pervasive technique of the left because they just can't deal with cold, hard facts. They prefer the emotionally charged result of accusation. The most effective method for resisting it is to simply call it out for what it is: stupid. To start a denial is to fall for the tactic, and then all hope is lost.
