The Gay Takeover of America

Your statement has the usual problems with such statements: (1) Ignoring that you already have equal rights, but don't want them on the terms they come with. (2) Assuming that sexual preferences are inborn, immutable, morally neutral, etc., when they are none of those.

There’s No Gay Gene, Says Scientists Catholic Answers Forums

The article clearly says research indicates a genetic basis for homosexuality. I am astonished that anyone could read it in the opposite way
What is with this forum's obsession with homosexuality? It in of itself is not a sin, nor is it harmful to a person's spiritual health. Homosexuals must be treated with kindness, love and compassion. For some people the teachings of the Lord for loving one another are forgotten and judging and discriminating are done instead in the name of Christianity. It is no wonder LGBT youth fear coming out to their families and friends, and suicide rates are higher among them within hateful environments.-God Bless.

"I'm definitely a homosexual... and I don't have 'psychological issues'"
Yeah, I know how that goes. They all claim to be "happy" and "well-adjusted." One good inside look at their lives and any person not in denial can see otherwise.

"Unrecovered gay... oh... you're one of those"
One of those what? One of those people who's seen for himself things you wouldn't want anyone to know about, that what I am.

no one is shoving anything on anyone. you have chosen to read what is written here. clearly, your emotional dissonance is preventing you from thinking and writing rationally.

actually, in america, people do have a RIGHT to say stupid and inaccurate things. you thinking and memory is clearly impaired by your emotional dissonance.

Am I supposed to carry this contract around with me everywhere I go?? Do you carry your marriage certificate everywhere????? When every moment counts... you better have that cert somewhere - cuz the doctors and hospital officials are just going to do whatever they want in the meantime.

FYI - people are animals. And... I'm definitely a homosexual... and I don't have "psychological issues" lol...

Unrecovered gay... oh... you're one of those, I'm wasting my fingers typing to you and my time. Peace brother - and I wish you all the best... may you find peace in your version of heaven.

so is murder. so is rape. so is pedophilia. all very normal and very natural. they exist in every species including humans.

that does not justify making such behaviors legal or tolerated.

"the overwhelming scientific proof that sexuality - including homosexuality - is very normal and very natural"

All the "overwhelming scientic proof" has been that homosexuality is unnatural and mentally & physically healthy. What you're referring to is popular pseudoscience that's been inconclusive at best, rigged at worst. The popular media is selling you a false story. Real psychologists know how sexuality can be twisted.

Just because you deny science doesn't mean the rest of us are ignorant.
jdixon589 Wrote: May 10, 2013 10:52 AM
Your inability to comprehend science, especially genetics, epigenetics, and evolution, doesn't give you right to shove your ignorant, clearly uneducated opinion upon people who understand the overwhelming scientific proof that sexuality - including homosexuality - is very normal and very natural.

"If I cannot visit my significant other in the hospital and be her advocate because we are not seen as a couple - then we do not have the same rights. (PS - that's just one of over a thousand rights)"
People have equal rights. Relationships don't, when relationships are not equal. (PS - If those thousand rights really mattered to you, there are other, contractual ways to get them.)

"it's not just humans that have same-sex attraction" - Animal "homosexuality" has nothing to do with what humans do. Animals don't have psychological issues messing with their sexuality, and the same animals that do "homosexuality" are also normal under normal circumstances.

"as pure as untouched snow" - I don't claim to be, and I don't have to be. Unlike an unrecovered gay, though, I've called my sins for what they are.
Kal_Ell Wrote: May 10, 2013 10:51 AM
LOL... are you really sure you're that separated from a dog? Judging from your comments you're much closer to animal than others I know.
And, why is it always about the sex?
Can't people just get OVER the sex??????? It's not ALL about the sex... *eye roll*

the law permits people being given power of attorney for another person both in medical terms and in financial terms.
eddie again Wrote: May 10, 2013 10:50 AM
if humans were animals, it would make sense to compare their behaviors to the behaviors of other animals.

but even people as morally obtuse as those who resort to the animial comparison to justify same-sex attraction do not go the next step and say indiscriminate killing of a member of the human species by another human is justified because it occurs in the animal kingdom.

likewise with defecating when and where one chooses. that occurs among animal species. should the same behavior be justified in humans?

1) If I cannot visit my significant other in the hospital and be her advocate because we are not seen as a couple - then we do not have the same rights. (PS - that's just one of over a thousand rights)
2) Sex is science... if you want to argue that, crack open a few books to realize that it's not just humans that have same-sex attraction.
As for your "Morallly neutral" comment - please... I'm certain all the advocates who are spewing the anti-gay rants are as pure as untouched snow. *eye roll* Wake up and smell the new day... smells just like yesterday and the day before...and the day before... no brimstone!
