What gets left out of the "gay marriage" discussion is the reality of what homosexuality actually is. It's not an "orientation." It's the sexualizing of some unmet need regarding one's same gender, and/or a rejection of the other gender. A person does *not* end up with attractions to their own gender unless something has gone seriously wrong in their lives. There are definite patterns to what kind of experiences can lead certain people to sexualize someone/something inappropriate. I've seen in people's lives what kind of experiences can lead to homosexuality, pedophila, porn addiction & heterosexual promiscuity. Homosexuality firmly belongs in the same category with the other things, no matter how much anyone pretends otherwise.

Recently, Steven Spielberg released his award-winning film Lincoln. In one scene, Lincoln saunters into the War Room and has one of those conversations, mixing philosophy with his thoughtful wit, with two young men.

Lincoln asks them if they ever studied Euclid and then dives into his point:
