Joemedic - You're not entitled to your own facts, and neither was Twain. If you can even attempt to cite Galileo as an example of "religious opposition," you know nothing of the story. Historians know that enlightenment came about BECAUSE of Christianity, not in spite of it. You are revealing your own ignorance.

Rasmussen Reports is out with some data sure to make anti-Christmas heads spin. The vast majority of Americans believe Christmas should be focused on Jesus, not Santa.

Should Christmas be more about Jesus Christ or Santa Claus? It may seem hard to tell looking at the popular culture, but Americans overwhelmingly think the emphasis should be on Jesus.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 76% of American Adults believe Christmas should be more about Jesus. Only 14% think it should be more about Santa, but another 10% are not sure.
