Nope! Clinton tried to allow gays in (the ONLY first term promise he tried to keep), but the leaders of the Democrat-run Congress told him to back off. So, which of those Dems was the conservative?

Congress actually made a finding that homosexuality was incompatible with military service,prohibiting it,and DADT was Clinton's dishonest way of getting around that prohibition. Then somehow,DADT became "law".
