Actually, Hamas DOES like to see 10 Israeli civilians wounded in a terrorist act. I think you're right though that no one likes to see innocent residents of Gaza hurt.

Well, rather than read their minds, why don't you read their charter. That's pretty clear wanting the deaths of all Jews, not just the Jewish state. Why don't you look at the words of their main $ and arms supplier, the leadership of Iran, who say they want to wipe Israel off the face of the map, like getting rid of a cancerous tumour. I am not good at reading minds, but I do listen and read.

Until you can prove to me that you can read the minds of the leaders of Hamas, I suggest you to you that your first statement stems from prejudice more than anything else. It is likely a true statement for at least some members of Hamas, just as it is likely that some extremist Israelis are glad to see the death toll ratchet up in Gaza.
