I just got here, but I agree. Marriage has a definition and a societal purpose, and neither includes gay unions. From a legal point of view, I can accept civil unions IF the PEOPLE make that decision.

The militant gay activists don't find "civil unions" to be acceptable. It has to be marriage or nothing. They seem to think that they can legislate beliefs. They seem to think that being legally "married" will bring some kind of acceptance that they don't now have. They are destined for disappoinment when they learn that those who don't approve of them now still won't approve of them when they're "married" and we'll never believe that they're "married" in God's eyes.

Gay rights activists are demanding Tim Tebow back out of a speaking engagement at Liberty University just two weeks after pressuring the New York Jets quarterback to cancel a speaking engagement at the First Baptist Church of Dallas.
