US corporations are taxed to the point they have to go overseas to survive. ???? Really? BS. They go overseas because they can get more profits for their stockholders and CEO's through lower workers wages and don't have to provide health care or safe working environments for those workers. They then put those profits in Cayman island accounts and pay little or no taxes. Taxes that are needed badly to support schools, roads, bridges and other crumblin US infrastructure that YOU depend on. WAKE UP.

Boo Hoo. Manufacturing has moved overseas and you best get used to it because it isn't coming back. That leaves the US worker 2 options, either flipping burgers or getting an education to learn how to use the machines (e.g. technology). Health insurance has nothing to do with it, but since burger flippers rarely have access to affordable health insurance, thats just more incentive to get an education, get a decent job and get access to affordable health insurance. Or you can flip burgers, go to the ER for medical care and keep driving up the cost for everyone. The 1940's are long gone.

Businesses create jobs when there is a demand for their products or services. PERIOD. It has nothing to do with government policy, it has everything to do with DEMAND. Now how do you think firing hundreds of thousands of government workers is going to affect demand?

“It’s easier and more lucrative for some adults to collect unemployment benefits than it is to work,” Steve notes. In short, the unemployment benefits provided with a stroke of President Obama’s pen have, at least in Steve and Gwynn’s case severely decreased their labor pool. " What a bunch of absolute hooey! More lucrative? Clearly the author doesn't realize that unemployment provides only a fraction of the recepients last quarter earnings. The less a person made in that quarter, the less unemployment benefits. To blame the president for providing unemployment benefits to assist people who have lost their jobs due to a poor economy and then to imply these people PREFER unemployment is the biggest bunch of s#$t I have ever heard.
