Ban guns that are used in the commission of any crime, and impose immediate 25 year prison sentences, with no chance of early probation, on the perpetrators. Chicago would be a perfect slum town in which Barack Obama, by executive order, should institute this policy, and Rahn Emanuel should ensure that it is enforced against all criminals.
Who isn't sickened by the moral decay and heinous acts of violence across our country? My heart and prayers continue to go out to victims everywhere.

But do gun bans -- such as the one proposed this past week by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., which would outlaw 120 specific firearms -- curb violent crime?
