The GOP lost the recent election because they lacked a simple but effective modus operandi which could counter the personal invectives, lies, distractions, and deflections which demoncrats used to their advantage. Take a page from their successful election strategy manual - minimize announcing your proposed programs, and don't fixate on directing your comments to the collective intellect of potential voters, especially democrats and independents. Instead, concentrate on emphasizing on a daily basis how democrat programs will negatively affect the FEELINGS of any and all potential voters.

Yep, attack the DNC / Hollywood / Liberal Media on a cultural level, and then attack harder. Show the world what Gay Drama queens are like, Interview moms who aborted their babies and then suffered psychologic break downs, show coomercials with Maher saying "... a retard baby from her c---." We ned to fight and win the cultural war before we can compete in the economic/political war. And we need to fight like we want to win.

Let's not sugarcoat it: we got our teeth kicked in on Tuesday. Sure, we added governorships and held our ground in the House, but we went backwards in the Senate and lost to an out-of-touch, incompetent, petty man who centered his campaign around Mitt Romney's bank account and Big Bird. We didn't get beaten by Bill Clinton in a great economy; we got beaten by another Michael Dukakis in the midst of a terrible economy. On the upside, if people have ever wondered what Jimmy Carter's second term would have looked like, then they're about to find out.
