Zapdoodat... lol.. No (the U.S. military is not an "errand boy" for anyone)... I was just pointing out that those who supported the Iraq war did not do so because of a connection between Iraq and 9/11...and I am so tired of the liberals thinking that everyone was duped into thinking that..

Neither am I a "neocon" or supporting an "internationalist/globalist agenda" whatever that means...

Although I am a strong supporter of Israel I am neither a fundamentalist Christian nor Jew. I am a proud American who supports America's friends (like Israel, Australia, Japan, etc.) and understands that sometimes dictators leave democracies with no choice, but to defend themselves. The U.S. cannot wait for another 9/11. We have a...

Paul #62 and Zapdoodat #64 are so proud of themselves "reminding" "neocons" (a term the anti-semite zealots and silly libs use to describe anyone who supports military action to defend against terrorists in the Middle East region)that Iraq was not responsible for 9/11.

Well, you silly libs I say "so what?" The neocons and others who supported the invasion of Iraq NEVER linked the two and neither did those scary "bogeymen" Bush/Cheney. So stop your lying and misinformation.

The Iraq war was brought on by Hussein's refusal to comply with UN resolutions, and the only responsible parties in the UN - the U.S., Britain, and other democracies joined forces to remove Hussein from power. After that Al Qaeda came to fight us...

Its interesting to see the hypocrites on the left squirm over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan against Al Quaeda, the Taliban and others who would rather cut Left's throat than look at him/her. Afghanistan was supposed to be the war of necessity and now Left and his/her ilk are demanding retreat from there with or without Osama bin Laden in chains.

The left never changes... They are naive and silly and not to be trusted with preserving freedoms of a nation. People like LeftUSA and "balanced" would have joined Chamberlain in allowing Hitler to invade the Rhineland and then carve up Czechoslovakia for "peace in our time". I only hope and pray that Obama brings "change" to Afghanistan by redoubling our military efforts and...

"balanced" you are not. Although you refrain from the "typical" liberal rants your thinking is skewed to the left, which distorts everything you say.. You claim that Iraq was a distant threat at best and that the U.S. invaded out of greed, but ignore the fact that Hussein refused to comply with U.N. inspections and defiantly refused to step down from power that would have averted the war in 2003.

Your anti-Bush/Cheney screeds are "old". Your man is now president and these are his wars to manage. Contrary to Will's instinct to "cut and run" Obama needs to stay the course Focus on the future and leave Bush and Cheney alone for history to judge. We know how you "feel" so leave them out of your discussions for history will...

Please stop... You are suffering Palin derangement syndrome, and you make no sense. You have no conception of context. Leave the writing to those liberals who are educated and can express their thoughts coherently. Your ramblings are tired and silly.

Palin is the answer to Obama's misguided ways. She has the skills, intellect, and personality to do great things for this country and heal the wounds that will be left behind when the radical liberal Obama regime comes to a close.

I am afraid that you are suffering Palin derangement syndrome already, much like you still suffer from Bush derangement syndrome.

Reading between the lines of your replies is an endorsement of Obama's knowledge, experience and eloquence even though he is advocating outdated, tried and failed policies (preached and advocated by the likes of Rev. Wright), all the while speaking through a teleprompter! You Big Dummy! So stop insulting Palin who gives stump speeches without the crutch of a teleprompter.

Palin is bright, charismatic and will be the first Woman President that you would be applauding if you were not a close minded liberal.

I give kudos to the intelligent and logical replies written by Anne #30 (listing Palin's accomplishments - still waiting for Obama's), St. Denis #37(listing Palin's experience), Barbara #39, Auhunter #69 (Palin is electable), especially The Atlmac #80 (sheer genius), Charles Sch #95 (agreed that the so-called conservatives that dislike Palin are either brainwashed by the MSM which is anti-Palin 24/7 or closet liberals who would vote for the Democrat anyway). Svenson #22-23 (brilliant analysis), Mary #24 (Amen) and Helen (God Bless you).

Finally, I agree with Krauthammer and Goldberg that Palin needs to study foreign affairs and economic theory(and no, not by joining Rev. Jeremiah Wright's church like the Obamas to learn these...

DCR #85 claims that Palin is ignorant and that we need a president versed in the history of this nation. I agree we do need someone who understands the meaning of the United States - the freedom to choose to succeed or fail; the equality of opportunity - not results; life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Palin understands this and articulates it quite well. We are to be guided by these conservative principles, not the liberal principles based on "feelings", "grievances" and "victimization."

To DCR and his ilk, I ask you to examine the roots of Obama's education into American history and values: sitting in Reverand Wright's mega-church listening to his hate-filled venom and poison about this blessed and generous nation...

Of course, the close minded, hate-filled crackpot liberal bigots (i.e., Lou #93 and MellorSJ2 #55) and the clueless liberals plagued by liberal mental illness (as that's the only explanation for their failure to face reality) (i.e., Phylo #45 and Tammy #s 6-7) will continue to torment and hound Palin and her supporters in an effort to make her unelectable much as they successfully did against Newt Gingrich.

These same liberals with Bush Derangement Syndrome are going to continue unabated with the attacks, which as Tkdblk #86 so aptly explains will only strengthen the warrior spirit burning in Palin's heart and soul (despite what Jon "the joke" #95 opines).
