...and now we learn that the DOJ sent their "Community Relations Service"...which is SUPPOSED to try and keep both sides calm in controversial cases...down to Florida to help organize marches and rallies against Zimmerman.

The Electoral College, Under Attack

You know, Mark...this might actually be the very first election in which the Electoral College actually helps the Democrats. I believe that...if Obama wins...he'll carry several key states by razor-thin margins. If every state assigned electoral votes like Maine and Nebraska...using the Congressional District Apportionment system...it wouldn't have made any difference in any election to date. (It would have changed some totals, of course...but not the actual election results.) But this year might be different. If states alloted their electoral votes NOT on the "winner take all" system, there might be an actual difference this year. We'll see...
Yeah, that 75 degree clear weather that's predicted is really hard on an audience.
No way he goes off-script. Hillary will have his testicles firmly in her hands (symbolically), and he'll be on his best behavior. No way she lets him screw up her access to power.
Now Justice Kennedy has to endure the tremendous pressure. The two big bastions of liberalism in this country...the media and the universities...will go to work. There will be "off the record" discussions about his "legacy". There will be lots of "just between us" conversations about how the law might affect future generations...with lots of mentions of the "right side of history" and how he doesn't want to be known as the vote that "struck down" health care reform. This bill is the "showpiece" legislation of a minority President with socialist leanings...so it's about as favored by the liberal elite as it's possible for a bill to be.
