One of the problems we face with 'illegal' immigration is the fact that their offspring, if born in the US, have access to run for the presidency without every pledging to support and abide by the US Constitution. This was exactly the fear our founding fathers had and why they required only natural born US. citizens can have access to run for the presidency. The pundit world will now eviscerate Mitt Romney, a man who, had he garnered just a few hundred thousand more votes in a few key districts, would have been hailed as political genius.
