Getting out punishment is important, but not as important as mitigating the damage done. Since the IRS has admitted culpability in its illegal attempt to suppress the voices of conservative 501(c)(3)(4) groups before the 2012 elections, it now becomes their responsibility to mitigate the damage done to these organizations. At the very least all immigration amnesty legislation should be tabled until after the 2014 elections to give the Tea Party a chance to be heard on this subject in its true voice, at its proper level. Also each state legislature should be called into a one-day session to adopt an "Article V" motion that would make IRS employees who engage in using the IRS to punish their political enemies a "criminal offense". In this way we can exercise the state amendment process as a means of strengthening local voices. ex animo davidfarrar
The President either knew, or should have known, seems to be the only general rule Mr. Pfeiffer has forgotten, or perhaps wishes the public to forget. ex animo davidfarrar
The Tea Party Exploratory Committee of Georgia has been created to help Tea Party candidates establish their Tea Party credentials throughout the state for the 2014 elections. Besides the Tea Party's demands of “taxed-enough-already” and “not-enough-spending-cuts”, the following item is taken from the list of fundamental constitutional issues all Tea Party supporters should support in 2014, and, hopefully, take their place in the line towards getting our country back. Item 4: Congressional candidates must agree to accept no outside PAC funds during their primary campaigns. This decision belongs to the people of Georgia. It shouldn't be bought off by big-money-Washington, special interest insider groups long before the first Georgian walks into the primary voting booth. ex animo davidfarrar

All of what you say is true, except for the part about his middle East strategy. I am simply not prepared to condemn Obama at this stage, even though I think Ambassador Stevens' death was a result of a botched kidnapping attempt that went tragically wrong. Has anybody noticed any further Mohamed Morsi demands to release Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman since Benghazi? ex animo davidfarrar
Although, this information is probably publically available. ex animo davidfarrar
I don't think you or the others understand...the feds isn't 'forcing' anybody to accept and indoctrinate anyone. They simply ask you to follow their guidelines if you want to qualify for these federal funds. ex animo davidfarrar
Common Core shows up in Florida: A father in Duval County, Florida has alleged that his son’s fourth-grade teacher instructed students to express — in crayon — their desire to trade rights guaranteed in the Constitution for a feeling of added security. No, Mr. Harris, our immigration system isn't broken. The 11 million immigrants who are here illegally, are here because 'enforcement' of our immigration laws is broken, so creating even more laws without effective 'enforcement' isn't going to help. If Sen. Rubio and the rest of the Gang of Eight want an effective immigration policy, I suggest they look no further than Georgia's state legislature where S.B. 160 just became law. Senate Bill 160 blocks illegal aliens from getting state driver’s licenses, grants, public housing and retirement benefits. It also prevents people from using foreign passports to obtain public benefits, unless those passports include records indicating they are in the country legally. ex animo davidfarr
I welcome Mrs. Palin's leadership in building up a strong Tea Party base for the 2014 mid-term elections. One suggestion, in states where there are multiple Tea Party favorites, she should allow the Peoples' voice to speak during those primaries and endorse only the winning Tea Party favorite in the general. In this way, the Tea Party will gain no matter who wins. There is, after all, always another election just around the corner. ex animo davidfarrar

Yes, I understand the point. Unfortunately, Santa Claus doesn't have to govern. All he has to do is hold is be given more money with which to hold more circuses and games for the people. In other words, raise taxes, rather than cut spending, to reduce unemployment and stagnant wages, quicken economic growth, and narrow the inequality gap in the workforce for the next ten years rather than lowering the deficit for the next ten years. ex animo davidfarrar
