So! Long lines for basics, like toilet paper? Makes one feel nostalgic for the late, beloved Soviet Union, where EVERYTHING required waiting on long lines.

Hannity: "pro-death for all others...e.g. Trayvon Martin--- in NY City, of all pregnancies in black women, fully SIXTY PERCENT (60%) end up in abortions. SO-oo-oo-- the "pro-choice" crowd have really succeeded in making the womb into the most dangerous place for black babies in the US. Also, of all black homicide victims in the US, the large majority are murdered by other blacks, not by whites or Hispanics. BTW the Supreme Court's power of judicial review has been universally accepted since Marbury vs. Madison, in 1804. IF you think the SC does NOT have that power, then you should call for the reversal of Roe vs. Wade, among others.

Please elucidate. This comment is disorganized and unclear. Also, please, no caps.
"Unprecedented"jQuery152008282668521464487_1323319689868? Really? Compared to WHAT? Now try explaining this: in the year 982 CE, some Vikings from Iceland, under Leif Ericsson, colonized Greenland. How did they survive? By growing WHEAT and raising CATTLE. I learned this in elementary school, in the 1940's. About 1300-1350, they had to evacuate, because of the advancing ice-cap. This was also the beginning of the Little Ice Age in Europe, which lasted for about 5 centuries. So-- are we to conclude that CO2 emissions caused the warming in Greenland prior to 982? The only logical conclusion is, that these climate fluctuations (i.e. cycles) are NOT man-caused. Try sunspot cycles. Or other natural phenomena.
This cartoon is shocking, but not surprising coming from Oliphant. He also has cartoons deriding Israel, on a regular basis, complete with references to traditional anti-Jewish stereotypes. As for the WaPost: it's like the NY Times: "All the News that Fits We Print."
Hand Tools?!?! Like Milton Friedman's story of being shown a canal being dug, in an unnamed Eastern Asian country. He asked why they were using bulldozers, and was told that they could create jobs for more workers by using shovels. His reply: "Then why not give them teaspoons."

In addition, we should remember that, for the past TWO GENERATIONS, American blacks have been under-educated. Therefore many are not prepared for the modern economy, and with the resulting high unemployment rate of blacks. How come? Because they are stuck in the government-operated, monopoly public-school system. This is better called a PLANTATION school system. In fact, it closely resembles the so-called Bantu schools of South Africa in the apartheid days. And Ms. Finney has the khutzpah (unmitigated gall) to call the Republicans racists! Guaranteed Solution: Vouchers, for ALL schoolkids. When it comes to schools, I am definitely PRO-choice.
