A December to Remember

Considering so many of the youth of this country nowdays, I am constantly amazed that there are still young men and women who willingly make the sacrifice of serving in the military. Of course to some, it's their life ambition and I commend those parents who were able to raise their children to love the US.

There would have been real nazi hegemony in Europe, and the world would be a much different place today. I do believe that the Battle of Britain was actually the turning point for us ALL in the world war.

Frank, Japan wanted the Dutch East Indies for it's oil, but had to prevent the US from interfering in their plans to expand, and since we had embargoed all oil exports they knew we wouldn't stay out. I think the US would have HAD to involve itself in Europe eventually, if only to support the British and commonwealth's efforts against the japs. We couldn't have allowed an invasion of Australia, and as Germany and Japan were already allies, it would have forced our hand. If we hadn't gotten in, I think Britain and Germany would have agreed to an armistice, (Churchill would have lost his job sooner) Germany would have developed an atomic weapon and used it on Russia, and German industry would have developed in the occupied countries.

Marines Warned: Don't Spit Toward Mecca

As a prison officer, for years we were taught to avoid touching the koran when conducting searches. If the con was available, he could hold it and flip the pages for inspection. And I have a funny feeling that if you tell a bunch of 20 year old Marines that they can't urinate towards mecca, then that's exactly what they WILL do, probably a whole lot more too....
My daughter has a masters in elementary education and hasn't been able to find a job. I spent 28 years working in the NYS prison system, and hated it. I managed to make it to retirement, and now I'm begrudged my pension. You know what? Tough. I did work that I hated because it paid the bills and took care of my children. I didn't get the luxury of pursuing my dream. I fulfilled the requirements to get to retirement that were established by a democratic state government, and now I'm taking my pension and benefits and keeping them. All you who were more interested in taking care of your "dream" and now complain that my retirement costs you too much can bite me...
Hey, if she's got money I'll take one for the party and marry her. How long would I have to stay married before I could get palimony?

Michelle Bachmann sexually harassed me in the 90's. I forgave her. If she gets elected President, she can have me.

I disagree with Ms. Saunders. Mr. Cain will weather this storm because the people will see it for what it is. Dems know that they have NO chance if he becomes the nominee, so are trying to derail his candidacy from, no, before the start of it...

I knew a woman who went on vacation in China and she brought back pictures. One of them showed a toddler walking around in a diaper with the butt cut out. They apparently just poop where they are and everyone goes on about their business!
