The "God-Particle" and God

David3655 Wrote: Jul 10, 2012 1:37 PM
I do not understand why so many think there has to be a creator OR evolution? Personally, I believe in both. Quite honestly, to say there is no God is like saying there is no starting point. If the Universe is constantly expanding and creatures evolving, then those two things alone prove there must be a starting point: aka - God.

All-Time All-Stars

Players did not get an RBI for themselves on HRs before the 1930's I think. Also, back then, they did not count a homerun unless it LANDED in fair territory, BUT they also counted balls that BOUNCED over the wall as a HR until 1931. So, baseball is a game of numbers but to compare different era's really is impossible. The rules change over time... the mound was lowered, the DH added, etc... Everyone acknowledges that athletes are bigger, stronger, faster, etc... yet in baseball, historians and fans think players of yesteryear were better. A great player is a great player, they would adapt in any era, but there is better pitching today than ever before and the hitters are better overall as well.

Marco Rubio’s Must-Read Autobiography

RUBIO: He HAS to be Romney's VP selection. The man will give him a massive amount of Latino votes and all but deliver the swing state of Florida

I agree with the Tea Party for the most part and I like and Trust Romney. Dig through the manutia and you will see Romney is a good, decent amn who became succesful through hard work. He is very smart and knows his stuff. Like Bush and Reagan, he also knows how to surround himself with very capable people to account for his own shortcomings. All the talk over the year about him flip-flopping is mostly bunk when you look at the details. Truly look at the things he vetoed and got passed in Mass with a liberal government. I am afraid that Reagan, with amnesty and deficit spending, would not even be the nominee this time. Don't make the mistake of the left and travel even further to one side.

Rubio is a natural born citizen and is over 35. Get a grip. Just because his parents were not yet citizens does not matter and is not stated ANYWHERE in the constitution. You birther nuts need to settle down.

I think he HAS to pick Rubio. It is all about what the VP can provide and Rubio provides more than any other nominee; a swing state and a large chunk of the fastest growing voting block. No other nominee gives him that. Any black VP will be demonized as a token because Obama is black & they aren't stealing enough votes from Obama worth note. A Female might be good (Hispanic female from the SW maybe), but I don't know if they give Romney anymore of the female vote than what his wife could help pull in. Ryan isn't needed because the conservatives aren't going to vote Obama & have been slowly rallying around Romney anyway. Anyone deemed in the moderate or a no-name will not help at all Rubio it will be.
Please stop calling him a "comedian". He is a political commentator on the left who also does comedy at the expense of everyone he disagrees with or looks down upon. It only gives the left more credence when stating that Maher can say the things he says because "he is a comedian."
