Republicans Questions on Mitt Romney

Research the effect of Reagan's tax cuts and how they worked to turn the economy around for starters. Romney's tax cuts, if implemented, would have the same effect. Thrown in the repeal of ObamaCare, which if accomplished, would have the effect of a tax cut since ObamaCare is stifling businesses hiring or expanding for another Reaganesque boost to the economy. Then add in a hypothetical restraining of government spending that Romney has talked about and business and investors will not be trying to protect themselves from inflation, government borrowing etc. Like Reagan's tax cuts the positive effects would begin being felt almost immediately and would accelerate very quickly. We can get out of this economic mess, but it requires that

politicians do the above things. The political question of course is the most difficult thing to achieve.

In other words, Romney will double down on the trickle down.

Exactly, ReaganConservative, it means more "trickle down" plans that fail to ever trickle down.

The Reaganesque "boost to the economy" didn't even happen that way under Reagan, so you might want to do your own research, Jim. What did happen was an explosion in income disparity--that's right, if you were already doing well, then the Reagan era was a boon to you.

I love how supply side economics is the answer for everything that ails us, according to Republicans. I mean, the Laffer curve only tells you to cut taxes if your rates fall on the right side of the curve...but to hear Republicans tell it, we are ALWAYS in the place in the Laffer model where it is beneficial to cut taxes.

Obama's policies of "trickle up poverty" have been an absolute failure. Anybody who supports Obama is automatically a supporter of his Big Government, radical Marxist, anti-business, anti-American agenda.
