It's not about whether drugs are harmful or not, it's about money and power the War on Drugs provides government. Government only cares about money and power, period. Too many conservatives, that imbibe frequently to the point of impairment, mind you, want a moral license to judge marijuana users so they can feel superior. Government wants their votes, hence, marijuana is the devil's work, although God created it. Satan has to be laughing at God that he deceived people that claim they love and follow the Lord into legislating one of his plants illegal. We'll never evolve spiritually as a nation as long as we approve locking-up people for using one of God's creations. Let the the hypocrites respond.

DV, You may want to take a gander at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ebu6Yvzs4Ls&feature=youtu.be I understand why you feel the way you do but you have not been given all the facts by the MSM. They have an agenda and they don't report all of the facts when it contradicts their agenda.
Attention Romney voters, this would have happened if Romney were president. Establishment Republicans and Democrats have willing participated in creating the foundation for a police state. For the Neo-cons that want continual war with countries that we deem a threat for minding their business, you will have to sacrifice your liberty. It's karma. Unfortunately, that affects everyone and makes Neo-con Republicans and Democrats an enemy to our country. We have to change the power structure through peaceful elections but we have witnessed how the media and the establishment of both parties will corrupt themselves. Look what Romney and the Republican establishment did to Ron Paul before the party convention. It cost Republicans an important election. Many Ron Paul republicans stayed home. Yes, this happened under Obama but the same would have happened under Romney, It's time to realize the War on Terror, like the War on Drugs, Poverty, and every other war we fight overseas is a war on our liberties. Karma's price for war.
Thank You! Ron Paul supporters know this guy well. He's the only honest reporter left.

Our whole War on Drugs is political. The DEA, local police, everyone one involved in enforcement abuse and exploit the laws for ego. Checkout The Lynching of Charlie Lynch on Netflix and you'll witness the worst humanity has to offer posing as law enforcement and prosecutors. It's time to end the non-sense. Unfortunately most that proclaim they want government out of their lives, have little courage when it comes to demanding it with their vote. Alcohol, tobacco and prescription drugs kill more people than all other drugs combined. The War on Drugs cost taxpayers trillions and the addiction rate hasn't changed since most drugs were outlawed. Even innocent people have died and civil liberties abused under the War on Drugs.

"Two days till we know in which direction our country will travel – toward liberty and a constitutionally limited government..." Oh, is everyone writing-in Ron Paul? That's the only man that will bring that about. Oh, that's right, we have to vote for Romney to over-turn ObamaCare that was based on RomneyCare. Yeah, that makes sense. Let's see...that liberty thing... yeah...we'll ramp up NDAA. Patriot Act, control of the internet, War on Drugs (you know we have to let the pedo's and rapist out so we can make room for the hemp growers and medical marijuana distributors), oh...don't play any online poker because that money isn't yours, it belongs to the government. Puhleeeez....spare me the liberty BS.
You don't understand earmarks. If you don't earmark funds, then you lose control where the money is spent, regardless whether you earmark it or not, the money is going to be spent.

Romney never had my vote to begin with, only Ron Paul.
