No, Republicans are NOT waging a war on women. And I wouldn't say that Santorum was doing so either. Nor am I opposed to him holding personal views on ANY subject. But you are dead wrong to assert that he has kept his beliefs "private." Voters DO vote for or against candidates based on their personal views. If he really had kept his more extreme beliefs private, he might have done better in the primaries.

In the scramble to make the GOP more diverse, a lot of people are looking at Asian Americans, whom many believe are a natural constituency for the party. I would love it if Asian Americans converted en masse to the Republican Party, but the challenge for Republicans is harder than many appreciate.
