The "Science" Mantra

I am agnostic at this point in time:-), and do not understand why the common sense of conservatism should not appeal to anyone, regardless of religion or lack thereof. I would personally like to see a more religious America. Judeo-Christian values are good in and of themselves. I just will not be a hypocrite and sit in church with true believers and dilute the congregation.

I also think that "...understanding of the roots of his own ideology." is an exclusionary phrase that serves no good purpose in fighting the obvious enemies of liberty. Conservatism should show tolerance of personal convictions if those convictions are not aligned against the fight to scale back government size and intrusiveness.
