Letting an Ambassador get killed in Benghazi because the facility he was in didn't have adequate security was Bush's fault? The Sec. of State (i.e. Hillary Clinton) turned down repeated request for additional security but this is Bush's fault? We had Seals in Tripoli and F16s at an airbase only 90 minutes away and none were sent to help, but that's Bush's fault? After the assignation, the Obama administration lied about what happen. They pressured the CIA to change the talking points so much that the Director refused to sign off --- and a couple months later the Director is forced to resign over a sex scandal. They evil President Bush. Reagan's support of Central American rebels against communism was pretty scandalous. How dare he. Has it occurred to you that Obama may have been arming Muslim terrorists fighting in Syria, and that was why the Ambassador was targeted?
Give it three more days and they'll be right back to defending Obama and attacking Republicans.
These new revelations won't harm the President unless the news media is willing to go after him, and I STILL don't think they will. Obama and Hillary could call a press conference in the Rose Garden and proceed to light puppies on fire in front of the news media, and the lead story would be about how Republicans were trying to politicize the President's performing arts project.
Which "journalist" were invited to collude with the White House?
What do you call an Irishman with 500 girlfriends? A Shepard. I'm Irish, so now you can go repeat that joke in an Irish bar. (Actually you probably could. We have a sense of humor.)
My son an I did indeed celebrate Cinco de Mayo by making homemade tacos and drinking Margaritas. On March 17th we also drank Guinness just to tick off the Irish, and on the 4th of July we'll be drinking Sam Adams. I guess we're just a couple of filthy racists.

Taxing Internet sales

The Quill decision prevented one state from requiring businesses in a different state to collect taxes for the original state. However, in this case, it is not another state making the law but Congress is making the law, so the Quill decision doesn't apply. Congress can make tax laws, and they get to regulate interstate commerce.
Any Republican that votes for immigration reform that doesn't contain truly effective border security deserves to be replaced. We should insist on eVerify as well to get rid of any illegal alien not following the law.

It is definitely not about fairness. Should we collect taxes and send that money to foreign governments, like Iran and China, when one of their citizens buys something from a U.S. business? Is it fair for the U.S. to force another country to collect taxes and send them to the U.S. when they sell something to a U.S. citizen? Of course not! This wouldn't be fair. Businesses located in different countries should be subject to the laws and taxes of that country. The EXACT same thing applies to businesses located in different states. They locate in different states to take advantage of the states business and tax laws. Forcing a business to collect taxes for a poorly run high tax state is absolutely NOT FAIR.

Happening Now: The Benghazi Hearings

David238 Wrote: May 08, 2013 3:15 PM
Google News' headline story is currently "Psychics scrutinized after false claim in Cleveland case". The Benghazi hearings aren't even mentioned on their front page. ABC News -- has 5 stories related to Amanda Berry. CBS News -- nothing on Benghazi but there is a headline asking "Is Coca-Cola part of the obesity problem or the solution?" NBC and MSNBC -- the big headline is on Amanda Berry but there is a small story on Benghazi on their front pages. Foxnews -- Benghazi is the lead story.
