There is nothing intrinsically wrong with a biased, partisan press. The press in Thomas Jefferson's day was extremely partisan and quite vitriolic. Limbaugh nails it, however, when he says that the press CLAIMS to be neutral and objective, while savaging anything conservative. If GW Bush had been president when Benghazi happened, how do you think the "objective" press would have handled it? It would have been Watergate all over again, and they would have stood for nothing less than impeachment or resignation.

The "objective " press hounded Richard Nixon for 6 years with no evidence he did anything wrong, until John Dean turned against him to save his own skin. The tape system in the oval office (installed by FDR) was revealed to the press and it revealed Nixon trying to cover for his buddies, and the rest is history.
If the press had not been so determined to "get" Nixon, it would have blown over in the first 3 weeks. Kind of like Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the New Black Panthers, not to mention Bill Clinton's multitude of scandals which all disappeared.

It doesn't do it justice to call them cheerleaders, for they are active participants, every bit as much involved in bringing about the events as the...
