Most liberals arrive at their "beliefs" by deciding how they "feel" about an issue, not by thinking it through logically. When challenged, they get indignant because you are calling them on their illogic, and they don't like it. Hence, you are "stupid", "selfish", "evil" or being bribed by "big business". They will never allow for the possibility that you have done what they did not: think it through.

We conservatives do not fear these self-described intellectuals — perhaps they should fear us. We know these folks for what many of them are; goose-stepping little fascists. They are fascists because of their slavish devotion to the State (as long as people they favor are running it, that is). They fancy themselves to be intellectuals because they automatically, like a jerking knee, take the opposite view to everything held dear in the country at large. It is really just an intellectual laziness. They think always being contrary sets them apart from the rest of us, because they are "thoughtful, and they see beyond the obvious, the problems are sooo complex, that the common people cannot be expected to understand", yada, yada,...

Sadly, for the folks who support this nonsense, "Tolerance" is one way — FROM US, TO EVERYONE with a grievance, imagined or otherwise. Its also funny how this crowd fervently support the Constitution, only when they can use it against our own interests. The purpose of the mosque is obvious. If it gets built, it will be used by the supporters of Islamo-fascism to show the Moslem world that they are winning against the evil United States. (Otherwise, how could it have been built, will be their argument.) This mosque will be an invaluable recruiting tool for terrorists. Another lasting gift for us from Obama and others of his ilk.

It is only a matter of time before we find ourselves with $7 dollars per gallon gasoline at the pump. I'm sorry to say that is what Obama and the environmentalists have wanted all along. Question — how can you sustain an economy with energy that expensive? The Great Depression lasted about 12 years. How long will the new Obama-created depression last?

Unhappily, I have the impression from my reading that reliance on Israel to get the job done is unrealistic. Iran's nuke program is apparently widely dispersed - Israeli jets will have multiple targets separated by many miles. The Obama administration has placed so many restrictions on our military governing how they must wage war and treat prisoners ("suspected extremists" in Obama-speak) that they practically invite our soldiers to kill everyone and take no prisoners.
