Bicycle and jogging paths, along with mass transit are critical to the infrastructure - or at least will be critical when the liberals make energy so expensive no one can afford to drive, and no industries exist to provide jobs. And public education from kindergarten through the universities is little more than liberal political indoctrination by unionized teachers who care only about their own interests, not their kids (reference Albert Shanker's speeches). The public schools don't turn out kids with enough math and science background to succeed in the economy of the future - then the colleges overlay this incompetence with political indoctrination. The time has come to draw the purse strings shut on these functions that waste so much.
