How any of these global warmists - be they dimwitted "feel good" issue du jour bandwagon jumpers or scheming modern day snake oil opportunists - can look anyone in the eye and advocate for their beloved Church of Anthropogenic Global Warming after all the revelations of the last three months, is nothing short of really, REALLY stunning.

If this is how Obama plans to "reclaim America's standing in the world" I fear that by the time he is removed from office, we will be friendless as well as penniless.

The War on Terrorism cannot be won by hamstringing those on the front lines. This only serves to jeopardize their lives as well as our own, while exacerbating and prolonging the fight. Applicaton of the liberal notions of political correctness, multi-culturalism and the oft mentioned "fairness" in the prosecution of war only empowers our enemies to our detriment in this, a zero sum game. Since 9/11 the Arkansas recruiter, Ft. Hood, Christmas Day and Times Square incidents haven't rattled sufficient numbers in the ruling class to make common sense decisions, and thus I fear it will take another catastrophic event to bring sanity back to the adminstration of our national security.
