Location is part of liberty. You can't say you can have liberty here but not not over there. That's not to say that all opposition to the mosque violates the constitution. The first Amendment and religious liberty is involved the moment the politicians open their mouths about it. They should all just remain silent on the issue and let the people of New York work it out. The people of New York who oppose the mosque should express their opposition but the government should stay the heck out of it.
