Ann- that isn't what Guy is saying. His concern is that the older Conservative leaders just can't get the job done. I was no more a Romney supporter in the primary than you were. But in terms of likeability, competence and simply breadth of knowledge he had it in spades over a mean-spirited fool who had no interest whatsoever in getting the economy growing. And yet he lost. Was Santorum going to convince those that thought Sandra Fluke was right? You, Guy and myself find the Fluke mindset incomprehensible but there it was. Someone is going to have to figure out how to convince these people.
