Hear, hear! Dennis Prager says this often, and he should, "Being on the Left means never having to say you're sorry." Bad enough that the libs operate with such impunity. We certainly should not join them in that moral corruption.
They are on the ballot every second year and they get re-elected _every single time_. Good luck with that. ( And I heartily support the idea. )
They _will_ get away with it. Just like Climategate.

Trouble in Kenya

"The Kenyan government has been egregious in pulling out all stops to propagandize for this constitution" I think one should worry about a charter of gov't (constitution) that the gov't itself is a prime advocate for. They did this in Venezuela too. Imagine the hundred-page behemoth the Dhimmi would write if they could redo our US Constitution. And the New York Times and much of MSM would herald its sure glory until it was _deemed_ passed. The people (most of the persons in society) suffer under such arrangements.

Liberals don't remember yesterday. Thus, no nagging revisits of the past. No conflict.

It was interesting the good Mr Hanson pointed out that Clinton did not seek permission from the Congress, or the UN, for intervention into Serbia, this in stark contrast to the several votes Bush asked of both for Iraq. Personally I've mentioned that for years to blank faces. Started to doubt my own memory of the past.
The big proponents of AWG are all Leftists, and they are using this scare to wrest power from "the masses" (to use their language) and concentrate it in their hands where a strong, centralized planning can ensure proper doses of utopia to each and every one of us (that's how they'll sell it after getting industry to knuckle under to the will of the State.)

Paranoid?

No. Libs just don't trust the masses they claim to champion. This is just another of those crises not to be wasted. For the cause, you see.

The Lonely Israeli Left

They are siding with Syria and Iran. Where is the surprise? For all their bleating about liberties, the Left has historically been enamored of the thuggish gov't. They were also quit keen to see the promotion of the USSR back in the day.

It is a political disease wrapped in a veil of compassion, rights, and other forms of deception.

Case For a Scythe?

"the central tenet of American political philosophy is that government is instituted not to bestow rights but to protect pre-existing rights, aka natural rights -- those essential to the flourishing of our natures. the Second Amendment did not grant a right to keep and bear arms, it "codified a pre-existing right."
And why are communists so dang cruel?
