Mr. Thomas, You said all that can be said about Obama's beliefs about gay marriage and that it's totally against any Bible teaching. Obama only uses the Bible when it will serve his needs. And then he changes the wording when it fixes his needs. I do have some doubt whether he is a Christian or not, but I do know that he rarely attends church, and if he is a Christian, he doesn't follow it's teachings. I hope the religious in all churches and especially the members of black churches, reject him in the voting booth. All he does and says as president in against the teaching of all mainstream Christian churches in this country.

I don't care if he's a christian or not, and quite frankly I don't care and it's none of my business. I like to see government officials choosing the good (respect people) parts and throwing the stupid stuff (virtually all of it)
I don't care if your invisible sky-monster friend gets offended by sodomy, what people do in private is their own business.

It is one thing to talk about "fairness" when it comes to allowing gays and lesbians to marry; it is quite another to claim biblical authority for such relationships.

President Obama cited the "Golden Rule" about treating others as you would like to be treated, but in doing so he ignored the totality of Scripture and the Lord Himself, who alone gets to set the rules for human behavior.

The president says he is a "practicing Christian." It is difficult to be one while simultaneously holding a low view of the Bible, which his position on several social issues might suggest.
